This pack contains ten 8A slow-blow fuses supplied for Filtreau controller maintenance. Select them only where the controller’s specified replacement fuse matches the required rating, operating characteristic and physical format. Check the original fuse markings and the equipment instructions before ordering.
Check the complete specification
The 8A rating and slow-blow characteristic are both part of the replacement specification. A fuse should not be selected simply because it fits the holder. Have a competent technician confirm the voltage rating, physical size and other required markings as well as the current rating and operating characteristic.

Investigate why a fuse has failed
A failed fuse can be a symptom of another fault in the equipment or connected circuit. Record what was operating when the problem occurred and have the cause investigated before fitting a replacement. Repeatedly replacing fuses without resolving the cause can leave the original problem in place.
Do not substitute a higher current rating or bypass a fuse to keep the filter running. If the controller itself requires replacement, see the Filtreau Excellent replacement control box. Choose a replacement controller only after the faulty component has been identified.
Replacement and storage
Disconnect the electrical supply before opening equipment or handling fuse holders. Follow the controller’s maintenance instructions and have electrical work undertaken by a suitably qualified person. Before returning the system to service, confirm that the correct fuse has been fitted and that the equipment operates normally.
Keep unused fuses in labelled packaging in a dry storage area so their specification remains identifiable.
