The Evolution Aqua EazyPod Automatic UV Green is a fully automated mechanical and biological filtration system designed for pond owners who want high performance water clarity with minimal hands on maintenance. Built around the trusted EazyPod static K1 system, this version adds an integrated control box, automatic waste valve and built in 18W UV clarifier.
As a result, it removes solid waste, supports stable biological filtration and controls green water automatically. Designed for garden ponds up to 20000 litres and koi ponds up to 10000 litres, it offers dependable filtration in a compact, easy to manage unit.
Because the cleaning cycle runs on an adjustable timer, the system continues operating efficiently even when you are away from home.
How the Evolution Aqua EazyPod Automatic UV Green Works
First, pond water enters the outer chamber where heavier debris settles naturally at the base. This reduces the load on the internal filtration chamber.
Next, water passes through a stainless steel grill that captures larger suspended solids before entering the central chamber.
Inside the chamber, 18 litres of static K1 media provide dual stage filtration:
- Mechanical filtration by trapping fine solids
- Biological filtration by supporting nitrifying bacteria that convert ammonia and nitrite
At the same time, the integrated 18W UV clarifier neutralises algae spores and reduces green water.
When the programmed cleaning cycle begins, the control box automatically opens the waste valve and drains contaminated water. Immediately afterwards, the internal air pump agitates the K1 media, dislodges trapped debris and flushes waste out through the outlet. Once complete, the system automatically returns to normal filtration mode.
