Cloverleaf Absolute Bio Gel is designed to establish or restore the living bacterial film inside a pond filter. The gel carries natural nitrifying bacteria and is formulated to cling to foam, moving-bed media, matting and other biological surfaces, giving the culture time to colonise where ammonia and nitrite are processed.

The 1 litre bottle treats up to 10,000 litres and suits most garden ponds. The 5 litre pack treats up to 50,000 litres and is the economical choice for large koi ponds, commercial systems or repeated seasonal use.

How to use it well

5. Test ammonia and nitrite frequently while the filter develops.

Always calculate the real water volume and follow the current label supplied with the product. Pond volumes should allow for shelves, stonework, filter chambers and pipework. Never increase a treatment dose simply because the water has not changed as quickly as expected.
