Evolution Aqua PURE Wildlife Pond Care
Two complementary bacterial balls for small, unfiltered wildlife ponds
PURE Wildlife is made for the small natural pond that does not have a conventional filter. Each pack contains four Healthy Water balls and four Waste Remover balls. Used together, the live bacteria and enzymes help convert ammonia and nitrite, digest organic waste and reduce the need for disruptive cleaning.
Use one ball of each type per 100 litres every week. The complete pack therefore provides four weekly doses for a 100-litre pond, or proportionally fewer doses for a larger wildlife pond.
What this product is designed to do
- Designed specifically for natural wildlife ponds without conventional filtration.
- Four Healthy Water balls plus four Waste Remover balls.
- Live bacteria and enzymes help process ammonia, nitrite and organic debris.
- All-natural, chemical-free routine according to Evolution Aqua.
- Simple weekly dosing with no measuring.
How to use it well
- Estimate the real water volume of the wildlife pond.
- Add one Healthy Water ball and one Waste Remover ball per 100 litres.
- Repeat weekly as part of routine maintenance.
- Remove heavy accumulations of fallen leaves by hand before they become anaerobic.
- Keep the opened pack sealed in a cool, dark place.
Always calculate the real water volume and follow the current label supplied with the product. Pond volumes should allow for shelves, stonework, filter chambers and pipework. Never increase a treatment dose simply because the water has not changed as quickly as expected.
Important checks before use
- Do not use cleaning chemicals in a wildlife pond.
- A bacterial ball cannot compensate for a pond filled with decomposing leaves or stagnant water.
- Avoid unnecessary disturbance during amphibian breeding and larval stages.
- Wash hands after handling and keep out of reach of children.
Test water before treating. Ammonia and nitrite should be zero in a mature stocked pond, while pH and KH should be stable. Treatments can support a sound system, but they cannot compensate for inadequate circulation, oxygen, filtration or excessive feeding.

Build it into a sensible pond-care routine
Explore our pond plants for cover, oxygenation and habitat, or compare the wider beneficial-bacteria range for filtered ornamental ponds.
A good wildlife pond relies on varied planting, shallow escape routes, limited nutrient input and occasional gentle removal of excess debris. Avoid fish in very small wildlife ponds because they add waste and prey on many aquatic invertebrates.
