Our practical advice

Plan access before installation, follow the current Blagdon instructions and check that every connected component is compatible. We prefer installations that can be isolated, cleaned and replaced without disturbing unrelated pond equipment.

Before you order

Looking after the product

Inspect the installation periodically instead of waiting for a complete failure. Keep intakes, vents, lenses and connection points free from dirt; remove limescale only with a method approved for the material; and replace worn seals or consumables with the correct Blagdon parts. Store removable solar or feature components safely if the manufacturer recommends taking them in during prolonged freezing weather.
