The PondoSolar Lily LED Set 3 is a decorative floating light rather than a conventional spotlight. Three artificial water-lily flowers contain small LEDs, while a fourth lily pad disguises the solar panel and rechargeable battery. The set charges in daylight and the flowers begin to glow automatically at dusk.

It is a simple choice for an ornamental pond where cables cannot be routed back to the bank and a soft floating effect is preferred. The interconnected leaves move naturally on the surface, but the 75cm cable spacing keeps the group together rather than allowing the lilies to drift around the whole pond.

Installation details that affect the result

• Place the solar-panel leaf where it receives direct daylight rather than under overhanging plants.
• Keep the connecting cables away from pump intakes and skimmer mouths.
• Remove, clean and store the set if severe weather or ice could trap or damage the floating leaves.
• Keep the transformer and every non-submersible connection in the location specified by the manufacturer.
• Arrange cable runs before filling or landscaping so plugs and junctions remain accessible.
• Clean algae and mineral deposits from lenses with a soft cloth; abrasive pads can permanently dull the light.
• Use an RCD-protected outdoor supply and isolate the circuit before handling any light or cable.

Complete the lighting scheme

Combine this product with suitable fountain pumps, waterfalls or other fittings from our pond-lighting range. Use warm or neutral white light for a restrained natural effect, and choose RGB only where deliberate colour scenes are wanted. Frequently asked questions

Can the lights be used underwater?

Only the components stated as IP68 may be submerged, and only to the depth specified in the instructions. Transformers, controllers and mains plugs must remain in their designated dry or weather-protected locations.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

These compact sealed light fittings use integrated LEDs. The lamp module is not treated as a replaceable bulb.

Will pond lights disturb fish?

Occasional evening lighting is normally used decoratively, but fish and wildlife still benefit from a natural dark period. Avoid leaving bright lights running throughout the night.
