Pontec PondoStar LED RGB Set 3
Low-voltage lighting for ponds, fountains and garden features
The PondoStar LED RGB Set 3 contains three compact colour-changing spotlights for ponds, fountains and garden features. A handheld remote lets you select coloured or white light, adjust the brightness and choose changing effects without reaching into the installation.
Each sealed spotlight consumes 1W and sits on a weighted adjustable base. The lights are connected in series, making the set well suited to a row of rocks, a small waterfall or several features around one pond rather than isolated positions across a very large garden.

Installation details that affect the result
- Protect the transformer and controller exactly as described in the instructions.
- Check the cable spacing suits the intended three positions before fixing the bases.
- Test the remote and preferred programme before concealing cables.
- Keep the transformer and every non-submersible connection in the location specified by the manufacturer.
- Arrange cable runs before filling or landscaping so plugs and junctions remain accessible.
- Clean algae and mineral deposits from lenses with a soft cloth; abrasive pads can permanently dull the light.
- Use an RCD-protected outdoor supply and isolate the circuit before handling any light or cable.
Complete the lighting scheme
Combine this product with suitable fountain pumps, waterfalls or other fittings from our pond-lighting range. Use warm or neutral white light for a restrained natural effect, and choose RGB only where deliberate colour scenes are wanted. Choose fixed white lighting instead if consistent natural colour is more important than programmable effects.
Frequently asked questions
Can the lights be used underwater?
Only the components stated as IP68 may be submerged, and only to the depth specified in the instructions. Transformers, controllers and mains plugs must remain in their designated dry or weather-protected locations.
Can the LEDs be replaced?
These compact sealed light fittings use integrated LEDs. The lamp module is not treated as a replaceable bulb.
Will pond lights disturb fish?
Occasional evening lighting is normally used decoratively, but fish and wildlife still benefit from a natural dark period. Avoid leaving bright lights running throughout the night.
