Suitable for ponds up to 4500 litres, this model takes the proven SpinClean design and enhances it with an integrated automatic cleaning motor, making routine filter maintenance easier than ever.

Based on the hugely popular manual SpinClean range, the SpinClean Auto 4500 introduces a built in motor that cleans the filter foams for you at the turn of a dial. This makes it a significant step up from traditional pressurised pond filters and an ideal choice for smaller garden ponds where convenience and reliability are key priorities.

The automated backflush system removes the need to open the filter or manually agitate sponges. When the cleaning indicator shows it is time to clean, you simply turn the blue dial to clean and switch the pump off. A red light illuminates and the internal motor activates, rotating the cleaning paddle against the foams to dislodge trapped debris. After approximately 3 minutes, an audible beep signals that the cleaning cycle is complete. You then switch the pump back on to flush waste water out through the dedicated outlet. Once the water runs clear, the dial is returned to pond mode and normal filtration resumes. The entire process is clean, simple, and highly effective.

The built in 11 watt UVC plays a vital role in maintaining clear pond water by targeting green water algae. As water passes through the filter, the UVC causes microscopic algae to clump together so they can be captured by the filter foams. This helps keep water clear throughout the season and supports a healthier pond environment. The UVC bulb is included, so the filter is ready to install straight away.

Inside the unit, graduated coarse and fine foams provide effective mechanical filtration, trapping debris before it can break down and affect water quality. As a pressurised pond filter, the SpinClean Auto 4500 can be installed away from the pond edge and partially buried if required, allowing for discreet installation and greater flexibility in garden design.
