Suitable for ponds up to 40000 litres, this filter delivers exceptional water clarity while dramatically reducing the time and effort normally required to keep large pond systems clean.

At the core of the SpinClean Auto 40000 is its fully automatic foam cleaning system. Unlike traditional pressurised pond filters that rely on manual cleaning, this model features a built in electric motor that cleans the foam media for you. This makes it an ideal solution for large ponds where frequent maintenance can otherwise become a demanding task.

When the cleaning indicator shows that maintenance is required, the cleaning process is simple and hands free. You turn the blue dial to clean and switch the pump off. A red indicator light confirms that the automatic cleaning cycle has started, and the internal motor rotates a cleaning paddle against the foam filters to dislodge trapped waste. After approximately 3 minutes, an audible beep signals that the cleaning cycle is complete. You then switch the pump back on to flush the loosened debris out through the dedicated waste outlet. Once the water runs clear, the dial is returned to pond mode and normal filtration resumes. There is no need to open the filter or touch dirty foams at any point.

The integrated 55 watt UVC provides powerful green water control for high volume ponds. As water passes through the filter, the UVC targets free floating algae, causing microscopic algae cells to clump together so they can be captured by the foam filtration media. This helps maintain excellent water clarity and supports a healthier environment for fish and plants throughout the season. The UVC bulb is included, allowing the filter to be installed and used straight out of the box.

Inside the filter, large capacity coarse and fine graduated foams provide effective mechanical filtration, trapping debris before it can break down and impact water quality. As a pressurised pond filter, the SpinClean Auto 40000 can be installed away from the pond edge and partially buried if required, keeping equipment discreet and maximising landscaping opportunities around the pond.
