Kusuri Growth Koi Food

Kusuri Growth Koi Food

A 37.9% protein, 12% fat formula for water above 20°C

Kusuri Growth is a floating koi food for a warm-water growth feeding programme. Its declared 37.9% protein and 12% oils and fats distinguish it from lower-fat foods in the range. Kusuri specifies water above 20°C, making temperature an essential part of the choice. A growth food supports a feeding programme; final growth also depends on the fish, pond conditions and the amount the filtration can accommodate.

Pack and pellet choices

This listing offers 5kg, 15kg packs with medium floating pellets. Select the required pack to see its current price and availability. Choose an amount you can use while it remains fresh, and check that the pellet size suits the smallest fish you intend to feed. The available packs use the same formula described below.

Feeding Kusuri Growth in warm water

Kusuri specifies water above 20°C for this Growth formula, with two modest feeds per day. That temperature guidance makes it a warm-water choice rather than a food to feed heavily through a cold spring. Start with a portion the koi can finish readily, observe their response and remove any leftovers within ten minutes. The analysis includes 12% oils and fats, so compare both protein and fat when choosing between Growth and the other Kusuri foods. Adjust the overall ration to fish activity and the pond’s filtration capacity.

Feeding and Storage Guide

• Use during active feeding periods when water temperature and filter performance can support richer feeding.
• Offer small amounts that are cleared quickly, rather than leaving uneaten food in the pond.
• Floating foods make it easier to watch feeding response and avoid overfeeding.
• Reduce feeding if ammonia, nitrite or water clarity deteriorate after feeding.
• Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from damp, pests and direct sunlight.
