Feeding guidance

Takazumi specifies feeding from 12°C. Use modest portions matched to fish activity and reduce the amount if food remains or water quality deteriorates.

Distribute small portions so less assertive fish have access. Observe feeding and remove leftovers. Check ammonia and nitrite when increasing the ration, and introduce changes gradually rather than making an abrupt increase in daily food.

Storage and freshness

Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Use a dry scoop and prevent pond water entering the food. Follow the best-before date and storage instructions on the supplied pack. Recheck appetite and water conditions when changing food.
