Controls Algae & Blanketweed Naturally Promotes a balanced pond ecosystem with safe, natural action.

Kockney Koi Water Wurzel Barley Straw Pouches is best used when the algae problem matches the product purpose. Heavy blanketweed, green water and suspended algae can all look similar to a customer, but they often need different approaches. Remove loose algae where practical, keep the filter clean, avoid excess feeding and make sure the pond is well oxygenated during treatment. Long term control is always better when nutrients, sunlight and water balance are managed as well as the visible growth.

Algae control guidance

Use Kockney Koi Water Wurzel Barley Straw Pouches as part of an algae control routine rather than treating the pond and walking away. Remove loosened algae, keep pumps and filters clear, check phosphate and nitrate where possible and avoid heavy feeding during treatment. A UV clarifier can help with green water, but blanketweed control normally also needs nutrient management and regular maintenance.
