In-Lite HUB-100 12V Garden Lighting Transformer

HUB-100 is a transformer and automatic controller for the original In-Lite 12V garden-lighting system. It converts the incoming mains supply to low voltage, provides two cable outlets and can switch the connected lighting automatically from its supplied external light sensor.

This is an earlier-generation HUB model retained on the 2026 Landscape Plus installer sheet. The current range also includes newer HUB and SMART HUB options. Choose this product when its 100 VA capacity and original HUB controls suit the project, or when replacing a matching existing unit; do not assume every current smart accessory is backwards compatible.

Capacity and cable outlets

The combined VA of every fitting connected to both outlets must remain within 100 VA. The two outputs allow separate physical cable runs, but they are controlled together—not as independently scheduled zones. Add the VA rating printed for each fitting, allow a sensible margin for expansion and never size from lamp wattage alone.

Automatic dusk and timer control

The supplied light sensor tells the HUB when darkness falls. Using the front controls, the connected lighting can remain permanently on, switch off, operate from dusk for a chosen number of hours or work with the compatible wired MOVE detector. Position the light sensor where artificial light from the garden cannot repeatedly trigger it.

Installation and weather protection

• Mount vertically at least 500mm above ground.
• Install indoors or under effective cover wherever possible.
• Use the matching legacy HUB PROTECTOR if the permitted location is exposed.
• Keep both cable outlets, controls and sensor connection accessible.
• Connect only genuine In-Lite low-voltage components to the 12V outputs.

The unit is supplied with a moulded UK plug and approximately 2.3m mains lead. Any alteration or fixed mains wiring must be carried out safely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions; use a qualified electrician where appropriate.
