Replacement spray-head and holder set for the Excellent drum-filter rinsing system
This Filtreau Excellent service set combines a nozzle holder with a stainless steel spray head. It is intended for replacing the corresponding component in the drum’s rinsing assembly. How the spray head supports drum cleaning
During the cleaning cycle, the drum rotates while the rinsing system directs water against the screen. This washes collected dirt away so that water can pass through the mesh again. The spray head is therefore part of the mechanical cleaning system, alongside the rinse pump and drum drive.
A damaged holder, restricted spray head or poor connection can affect the way water reaches the screen. Before replacing a component, establish whether the problem is local to that fitting or affects the whole rinsing system. Uneven cleaning can also require checks elsewhere in the assembly.

Checking the replacement against your filter

These details help distinguish the required fitting from other parts that may look similar. If the holder is damaged, photograph its mounting position before removing it.

Fitting and maintenance
Disconnect the electrical supply before working around the drum or rinsing assembly. Isolate the water circuit as required by the filter’s instructions, and have the fitting replaced using the procedure for that model. Keep the connection clean during assembly and check that the holder is secure before restarting.
After refitting the cover, follow the filter’s restart procedure and check the repair for leaks and normal cleaning operation. If the rinse system still performs poorly, investigate the remaining cause before repeatedly changing parts.
