Blagdon’s submersible LED lights can be used to pick out a fountain, waterfall, planting group, sculpture or the edge of a pond after dark. Choose a single low-power light for a small detail, or the three- and five-light 3W sets for a broader installation.

Compare the lighting sets

One extremely bright fitting rarely produces the most natural garden lighting. Several lower-level beams, aimed from different positions, create depth and avoid a harsh floodlit effect. Before fixing cables permanently, test the view from the house, patio and paths and ensure the LEDs do not shine directly into people’s eyes.

Submersed or around the pond

The IP68 light heads are suitable for submersed use when installed exactly as instructed. The transformer and connection points have their own location requirements and must not be treated as submersible. Keep joints accessible for maintenance and do not leave excess cable where it can be damaged by pond equipment.

Practical installation tips

• Light across moving water rather than directly at the viewer.
• Use several angles to reveal planting and stone texture.
• Clean lenses when biofilm or limescale dulls the beam.
• Plan transformer capacity and cable lengths before installation.
• Switch lights independently so the garden is not over-lit every evening.

Choose the set by coverage, not just wattage

The single 0.76W light is best for one compact feature or a subtle underwater glow. The three-light set can frame a waterfall or separate three focal points around a small pond. The five-light set gives more freedom around a larger pond or mixed garden scheme. Sketch the positions and cable routes first; this reveals whether the chosen set reaches every location without unsafe or inaccessible joints.
