The Yamitsu three-way and four-way switch boxes bring several pieces of pond equipment into one clearly labelled outdoor control point. Instead of tracing plugs or isolating the whole pond whenever one item needs attention, each circuit has its own illuminated switch and fuse. That is particularly useful on established ponds where a filter pump, UVC, air pump and lighting may all need different maintenance schedules.

These are IP66 weatherproof enclosures made for gardens, ponds, sheds, boats and similar outdoor installations. Colour-coded switches and cable glands make circuits easier to recognise, while the mains indicator confirms that power is reaching the box. The supplied self-locking wall bracket avoids drilling through the enclosure, helping preserve its weather-resistant integrity.

Choose the model from the total connected load

Do not use the overall figure as permission to place any appliance on any outlet. One circuit is intended for the larger load and every remaining circuit is limited to 500W. Check the nameplate wattage and starting characteristics of every connected item. High-current electric pond heaters may require a different dedicated supply and should not be assumed suitable simply because the total appears to fit.

Practical installation details

• Accepts common round cable diameters from approximately 7–12mm.
• Each output has its own fuse and illuminated status indicator.
• Unused cable entries should be sealed with the supplied blanking plugs.
• Mount upright where the front can be opened for inspection without leaning over the pond.
• Label every circuit with the appliance it controls before the system is commissioned.
• Isolate the incoming supply before removing the cover or changing a fuse.

Which switch box should I choose?

The three-way model suits a straightforward pump, UVC and air-pump installation. Choose the four-way model if a separate lighting circuit, skimmer or second pump is required. Can the switch box be left outdoors?

It is IP66 rated when correctly installed with suitable cable and properly sealed glands. It should still be mounted sensibly rather than in a hollow that floods or where it can be submerged.

Are the circuits separately fused?

Yes. Each controlled output is fused, and replacement fuse packs are available for routine servicing.

Can I connect a pond heater?

Only if a qualified installer confirms the exact heater load, cable and circuit are suitable. Many high-output pond heaters require dedicated protection and should not be connected to a standard multi-switch output.
