The Oase UKK T3 is a specialist underwater cable junction designed for pumps, submersible spotlights and other electrical equipment used in professional pond and water-feature systems. It allows connected equipment to be disconnected for service without emptying the pool simply to reach an inaccessible dry joint.

The corrosion-resistant bronze body is considerably more substantial than a domestic inline cable connector. A transparent cover allows the installer to inspect the internal connection and seal, while unused cable entries can be closed with the supplied blanking plugs. Four M20 glands accept cables approximately 6–13mm in diameter.

Where the UKK T3 earns its place

This is most useful in architectural fountains, formal pools and larger installations where equipment must be removable but the cable route cannot be conveniently returned to a dry plant room. It is not a shortcut for poor electrical design: circuit protection, equipotential bonding where required, cable type and accessibility must all be considered at design stage.

For ordinary garden equipment above the waterline, a simpler connector or weatherproof switch box from our pond electrical range may be more appropriate and substantially less expensive. The UKK T3 is chosen where a robust, repeatedly serviceable submerged junction is genuinely required.

• Use the supplied blind plugs in every unused gland.
• Follow the tightening sequence and torque in the Oase instructions.
• Carry out the required insulation, continuity and protective-device tests before immersion.

Yes, it is designed as a connection and separation point for suitable underwater electrical consumers including pumps and lighting, subject to professional system design.

Can it be installed by a pond owner?

This is not a DIY plug-and-play accessory. Work involving mains electricity in or around water should be designed, installed and tested by a competent professional.
