The SuperFish Koi Pro Fish Feeder lets you divide a daily ration into scheduled portions. Its separate controller sets the feeding times and quantities, while the mounting bracket fits to a wall, post or suitable horizontal surface beside the pond. The 7-litre capacity describes container volume; the weight of food it holds depends on the pellets.

Choose and calibrate the food

Use pellets, not flakes or sticks. Fit the supplied inserts as directed for the pellet size you are using.

Measure several dispensed portions with your chosen food before setting the daily programme. Pellet size and density affect the output; a numbered setting is not a fixed gram weight for every recipe.

For example, if the intended daily ration is 120 g divided between four meals, aim for about 30 g per meal and check the actual output. Adding a fifth scheduled meal without reducing the others would increase the daily ration. Count hand-fed food and treats within the same total.

Installation and care

Mount the feeder level and securely above the pond. Keep the controller dry and splash-free. The manual requires an earthed supply with RCD protection of no more than 30 mA; follow its electrical instructions before installation.

Keep the food dry. Disconnect power before maintenance, and remove caked food with a dry cloth and brush to prevent rotor blockage.

Check the programme before use

Set the clock and feeding schedule using the instructions supplied with your controller. Check the settings and observe a test feed after a power interruption or a change to the programme.

Using the feeder through the season

Choose the total ration first, then divide it into suitable meals. Follow the selected food’s temperature guidance and adjust feeding to fish response and water quality. The maximum number of feeding times is a feature of the controller, not a recommended schedule for every pond.

Our practical recommendation is to test the complete programme for at least a week before relying on it during a holiday. Arrange for someone to check the fish, food supply, water and equipment while you are away. Recheck the measured portions when changing pellet size or food.
