Kusuri Staple Koi Food

Kusuri Staple Koi Food

Complete koi food with 35% protein and 8% oils and fats

Kusuri Staple is a complete floating food for koi and other coldwater ornamental fish. Its analysis is 35% protein and 8% oils and fats, with soya bean meal, wheat and fish meal among the principal declared ingredients. It is an everyday feeding option within the range, rather than a specialist high-fat growth formula. Kusuri also describes it as suitable for mixing with other foods in its range, when a change in the feeding plan is appropriate.

Pack and pellet choices

This listing offers 5kg, 15kg packs with medium floating pellets. Select the required pack to see its current price and availability. Choose an amount you can use while it remains fresh, and check that the pellet size suits the smallest fish you intend to feed. The available packs use the same formula described below.

Comparing the Staple formula

Kusuri Staple contains 35% protein, 8% oils and fats, 3.4% fibre and 6.6% ash. These figures describe the food itself; they do not establish a suitable ration for every pond. Choose a portion that the fish clear promptly and follow the feeding instructions on the pack supplied. The manufacturer advises removing uneaten food within ten minutes and keeping food fresh. When comparing Staple with a richer growth food, consider the feeding conditions as well as the protein percentage.
