AquaForte Floating Fountain and Nozzle Set
Three interchangeable displays from one floating pond fountain
The AquaForte floating fountain combines a pump, floating support and three interchangeable fountain heads in one set. Choose between Classic, Trumpet and Crown & Trumpet patterns to give the pond a different appearance without replacing the complete unit. A 30 metre power cable provides reach between the fountain and a suitably positioned electrical supply.
The floating arrangement supports the fountain at the water surface while the pump operates beneath it. It suits a pond where you want a visible water display away from the bank, with the unit held in position by mooring lines. Plan that position around the water depth, access for maintenance and the space available for the spray to return to the pond.
What is included?
The manufacturer’s manual lists the fountain pump, float mounting ring, float, the fitted Classic pattern, two alternative spray heads and triangular mesh. The alternative heads provide Trumpet and Crown & Trumpet displays. The lighting set and remote controller are optional accessories, so you can choose the core fountain first and add those features to suit your installation.

Positioning and securing the float
Check water depth at the actual installation point, including the lowest level expected during use. The manual requires at least 60cm for correct operation. The pump must remain in water when running. A position that is deep enough beside the bank may not reflect conditions elsewhere in the pond, so check the intended fountain position before assembly.
Mooring cables or ropes are needed to restrain the float and are not included according to the manual. They attach at opposite sides of the float and are secured at the bank to prevent the fountain twisting or drifting. Arrange the power cable with the prescribed strain relief and avoid using it to pull, carry or position the unit. Use the float and provided lifting points when handling the fountain.
Choosing a display and optional accessories
The three supplied heads let you compare different patterns in the same location. Switch the fountain off and disconnect its supply before changing a head. Follow the illustrated nozzle fitting instructions, then check the chosen display once the unit is operating again. Allow room around the fountain so that water lands inside the pond, taking account of exposed positions and changing weather.
For evening displays, see the AquaForte 3 x 6W floating fountain lighting set. For timed operation and adjustable pump settings, see the separate AquaForte floating fountain controller. Select each accessory separately; neither is included in this fountain and nozzle set.
Electrical supply and first use
Arrange a suitable protected electrical supply before putting the fountain in position. The manual calls for an earthed connection with residual-current protection and recommends using a qualified electrician where a supply needs installing. Follow the rating label and instructions supplied with your unit. Keep the plug out of the water, and disconnect electrical equipment before anyone enters the pond or handles the fountain.
The fountain is intended for freshwater use. Do not run the pump dry or use it in water above the manual’s 35°C limit. Once the unit is correctly assembled, secured and connected, observe its first run from the bank. Check that the float remains stable, the spray is even and the mooring arrangement holds the chosen position without straining the power lead.
Cleaning and winter storage
Leaves, algae and aquatic weeds can collect around the intake screen and affect the display. Disconnect the power before clearing these away. If the fountain pattern becomes uneven, inspect the intake and nozzle for obstructions as part of the manufacturer’s troubleshooting routine. A reduced display should prompt a check of the water level and flow path before assuming that the motor needs replacing.
The manual advises cleaning the rotor every twelve months, or as needed, when the unit runs in dirty water or where mineral deposits build up. The appropriate interval will depend on the pond’s conditions. Keep access to the fountain practical so this maintenance can be carried out without pulling on its electrical cable.
Remove the fountain and any attached lighting before ice forms. Clean the equipment before storage and keep it in a frost-free place. Before returning it to the pond, inspect the cable, connections and seals as described in the AquaForte floating fountain manual. Seasonal checks help you spot damage before the equipment is back in the water.
