Takazumi EasyMix Floating and Sinking Koi Food

Takazumi EasyMix is a complete mixed koi food made from approximately 70% floating Takazumi Gold Plus and 30% sinking Takazumi Easy. This combination allows confident koi to feed at the surface while shy, less dominant or lower-feeding fish can follow the sinking pellets through the water.
The floating Gold Plus element supports colour and everyday condition, while the sinking Easy element provides a highly digestible wheatgerm-based food for less-active koi. The result is a practical all-season blend for keepers who want one food to reach fish at different levels of the pond.
Why use a floating and sinking mix?
Surface feeding is useful because it makes appetite and fish condition easier to monitor, but dominant koi can take a disproportionate share of floating pellets. By including a controlled proportion of sinking food, EasyMix spreads feeding activity through the water column and gives reserved fish a better opportunity to eat.
The mixed behaviour is also useful in deeper ponds, although care is needed around bottom drains and strong circulation. Feed from a position where the sinking portion remains accessible long enough for the koi to take it.
Pellet and pack options
Takazumi EasyMix is supplied as a 5mm pellet in 4.5kg and 10kg bags. The medium pellet size suits established koi and mixed collections where the smaller fish can comfortably swallow a 5mm pellet.
Feeding guidance
Feed little and often, offering only what the fish will consume promptly. Watch both the surface and the lower water so the sinking portion is not overlooked. Adjust the amount to water temperature, fish activity, oxygen levels and filter performance, and reduce feeding immediately if ammonia or nitrite is detected.
Takazumi EasyMix should be stored sealed in a cool, dry place and used while fresh. Do not allow the bag to become damp beside the pond.
