Pond Medic Malachite is a Malachite Green 1% treatment designed to control a wide range of external ecto-parasites in ornamental pond fish. It is effective against white spot, flukes, costia, ciliates, trichodina, gyrodactylus, dactylogyrus, flagellates, and other common parasitic infections. This zinc-free formulation helps support fish health while treating parasite outbreaks.

When to Use

• White spot (Ich) outbreaks
• External parasites such as flukes and costia
• Protozoan infections (Trichodina, Chilodonella, etc.)
• Fish showing flicking, rubbing, or respiratory stress
• General ecto-parasite infestations in pond systems

How To Use

Dosage Preparation:

• Add 10ml per 1000 litres (220 gallons) of pond water
• Use the provided measuring cup for accurate dosing

Application:

• Mix product in a clean watering can filled with pond water
• Apply evenly across the pond over a 1-hour period

Treatment Course:

• Repeat treatment after 10 days if required

Filtration & Equipment:

• Switch off UV sterilizer during treatment
• Maintain filtration and aeration throughout
• Ensure additional aeration if needed

Monitoring:

• Observe fish carefully during treatment
• Do not treat at night or immediately before absence
