Microbe-Lift Filter Gel

Microbe-Lift Filter Gel

Biological pond treatment for filter support, sludge reduction and water balance

Microbe-Lift Filter Gel is a breakthrough biological product that delivers beneficial bacteria directly onto filter media for rapid colonization. It stabilizes the pond’s environment, accelerates biological activity, and restores bacterial populations after media cleaning or replacement. Filter Colonization Ideal for foam, strapping, floss, bio balls, ceramic media, and K1 filter media.

Biological treatments such as Microbe-Lift Filter Gel work best when the pond gives the bacteria the right conditions to establish. Use in chlorine-free water, maintain good oxygen levels and avoid dosing at the same time as strong chemical treatments unless the manufacturer says it is safe. They are especially useful after filter cleaning, new pond start-ups, medication courses, heavy feeding or seasonal waste build-up, where the biological system needs extra support.

Microbe-Lift biological products use selected bacterial cultures and seasonal formulas. Their Autumn/Winter Prep is specifically designed to continue breaking down leaves, sediment and organic material at lower temperatures below around 12°C.

Biological support guidance

Use Microbe-Lift Filter Gel when the pond or filter needs biological support, such as after cleaning, new filter installation, medication, heavy feeding or seasonal waste build-up. Do not expect bacterial treatments to instantly remove years of sludge; they work by supporting natural breakdown over time, especially when oxygen levels and water temperature are suitable.

• Store the product as instructed and do not use if it has been damaged or contaminated.
