In-Lite ACE UP-DOWN 100–230V Mains Wall Light
The ACE UP-DOWN 100–230V Mains Wall Light is the direct-mains member of the ACE wall-light family. Its powder-coated aluminium body and warm-white LED create matching architectural light above and below, while the four finish options make it possible to coordinate the fitting with brick, render, timber cladding, doors and window frames.
This version is useful where a 100–230V outdoor circuit is already available or where the wall lighting is being designed as part of the building’s electrical installation. It is not a 12V In-Lite fitting and does not connect to a HUB transformer, EASY-LOCK or In-Lite 12V cable.
Where this ACE wall light works best
Use it on house walls, garages, entrances, outbuildings, boundary walls and larger garden structures. The 64° up and down light pattern is deliberately defined rather than flood-like, helping repeated fittings create a tidy architectural rhythm.
As a practical starting point, In-Lite suggests spacing ACE DOWN 100–230V fittings at roughly 2 to 2.5 metres when mounted around 1.4 to 1.8 metres high. Treat that as guidance rather than a fixed rule: wall colour, texture, ambient light and the desired effect all matter.
Direct mains installation
This 100–230V fitting must be connected to an appropriate outdoor electrical circuit by a suitably qualified electrician. The installer must select the cable, protection, isolation, switching and outdoor connection method for the actual site.
Plan every cable position before drilling repeated holes. Do not buy an In-Lite HUB transformer or 12V system cable for these mains-voltage variants, and never mix the two connection methods.
Choose DOWN or UP-DOWN
ACE DOWN directs the light below the fitting, making it useful beside doors, along passages and where light above the luminaire is unnecessary. ACE UP-DOWN creates a more decorative two-direction facade effect and is often the better choice for taller walls and feature elevations.
