Evolution Aqua Premier has a 37% protein and 7% oils-and-fats declaration. Its composition starts with soya and fish meal and includes a minimum of 2.3% spirulina. Salmon oil and wheat germ are also listed. Premier has a different recipe and analysis from Growth Plus, so choose by feeding purpose and the complete declaration rather than treating the two foods as interchangeable.

Feeding guidance

The current manufacturer feeding section specifies water above 18°C and portions cleared within three to five minutes. Adjust the quantity to appetite and pond conditions, and remove uneaten food.

Bag Size: 6kg, 15kg; Pellet Size: Medium 5-6mm, Small 3-4mm. Select an option for current price and availability. Match the food size to the fish and choose a quantity that can be used while fresh.

Storage and feeding checks

Keep the pack sealed, cool and dry, away from sunlight. Use a dry scoop and keep pond water out of the food. Follow the best-before date and storage instructions on the label.

Check appetite and water quality when changing foods or increasing feed. Uneaten pieces and pellets add to the filter’s workload. If fish are less interested or water tests deteriorate, reduce the ration and investigate the conditions before increasing it again.
