It is best used when the water is warm, the fish are active and the biological filter is able to cope with a higher feeding rate. Available options include 15kg, 6kg pack sizes and 6mm, Medium pellet size options, so it can be matched to pond size, fish size and how quickly you are likely to use the food while it is still fresh.

Growth foods are most useful when koi are feeding strongly and the pond has enough oxygen and biological filtration to deal with the extra waste created by heavier feeding.
