The best diffuser positions are normally spread across the pond rather than bunched together. During hot weather place air where it can circulate oxygenated water without forcing every fish into one turbulent corner. In winter, avoid dragging the very cold surface layer to the deepest resting area unnecessarily.

Install the kit correctly

Four outlets are useful for a broader pond or for placing air near both the fish area and the biological filter return. More outlets do not automatically mean more air at each stone: balance the lines carefully and keep the runs reasonably similar.
