The AquaForte Inverpro VS WiFi IP30 is an inverter pump designed for pool circulation and filtration installations. It combines an adjustable operating speed with a touchscreen display, integrated WiFi and a real-time flow-control function. These controls let you set the pump around the requirements of the connected system, with separate operating periods for different parts of the day.

This is the RD372 model in the AquaForte range. When choosing it for an existing installation, check the pump model alongside the plumbing arrangement and the requirements of the filter. A pump selected for a swimming pool or a swimming-pond circuit needs to suit that particular installation; the name of a product family alone does not establish that it can replace an existing pump without changes.

What the inverter control does

The Inverpro allows its speed to be adjusted between 40% and 100%. This gives you a way to vary circulation instead of relying on one fixed operating setting throughout the day. The right setting depends on the flow your filtration equipment needs and the resistance in the pipework, fittings and other connected components.

Running at a lower setting may be useful where the system requires less circulation, but the percentage on the display is not a direct measure of the water reaching your filter. Pipe length, changes in height and restrictions all affect the result. Choose operating settings around the whole installation and its required circulation, then check the resulting flow rather than assuming that a particular speed percentage will suit every pond or pool.

Real-time flow control

The real-time flow-control function is designed to maintain the selected water flow as resistance changes. AquaForte describes the pump increasing its speed when filter resistance rises, then reducing it again after cleaning. This is particularly relevant to a filtration circuit whose operating conditions change as it collects debris.

Automatic adjustment supports circulation management, but it does not replace filter maintenance. A gradually increasing restriction should still be investigated and the filter serviced in accordance with its own instructions. A pump cannot compensate indefinitely for blocked equipment, and keeping the water path clear remains part of caring for the installation.

Touchscreen display and WiFi access

The touchscreen shows the current power consumption, flow in cubic metres per hour and operating speed as a percentage. Having these readings together helps you see what the pump is doing when changing a setting or checking the circuit after routine maintenance. They are also useful observations to record if you later need help assessing a change in performance.

Integrated WiFi provides remote monitoring and control. The pump also comes with a 5-metre communication cable for connection to an external controller. Compatibility with an existing external control system should be checked before installation; the presence of a communication cable does not mean that any controller can be connected. Follow the instructions supplied with the exact pump for its connection and setup procedure.

Daily programming and backwashing

Up to four speed settings can be programmed across a 24-hour period. This allows a daily schedule to be arranged around the filtration system rather than changing the speed manually each time. Before reducing overnight circulation, check the needs of all equipment served by the pump and ensure that the installation will still receive the water movement it requires.

A one-touch backwash function is included for use with an appropriate filter arrangement. It provides a pump operating function; it does not replace the valves, plumbing or cleaning procedure required by the filter itself. Use the filter manufacturer’s instructions to establish the correct valve positions and cleaning sequence, and return the system to its normal configuration afterwards.

Connections and installation planning

The pump has 2-inch female threaded connections and is supplied with 2-inch x 63mm unions. Check the actual pipe and fitting sizes in the installation before ordering additional plumbing. A threaded connection and a metric pipe connection describe different interfaces, so matching the numbers alone is not enough to select the correct adaptor.

Plan access for inspection, connection checks and servicing as well as the route of the pipework. Confirm the available space against the exact supplied pump before making permanent alterations. Electrical installation and siting should follow the pump instructions and the requirements of the installation. Keep the controls accessible so that settings and displayed readings can be checked during routine maintenance.

Choosing the correct model

For a replacement installation, start with the identification plate on the existing pump, the filter model and the required duty of the circuit. Keep photographs of the current inlet and outlet connections and note any external controls already fitted. These details make it easier to establish whether the Inverpro is appropriate and which additional fittings may be required.
