Oase Control and Smart Garden Controllers

Choose the right controller for compatible pond pumps, filters, lighting and outdoor sockets

Oase Control is not one universal box that makes every pond product smart. It is a family of controllers, compatible devices, communication cables and adapters. The correct starting point depends on whether you want to control an Oase Control-enabled device, switch ordinary mains equipment, or adjust one compatible pump locally at the pond.

This category contains the three main control routes we currently sell: the Oase Garden Controller Cloud, the Oase InScenio FM-Master EGC Cloud and the Oase Eco Control. It also contains the Oase Control cables, cable connector and adaptor needed to connect a real installation rather than leave it as a collection of incompatible parts.

We use these products on everything from a single adjustable filter pump to larger ponds with monitored pumps, drum filters, fountains and lighting. If you send us the exact equipment list and a rough plan of the garden, we can identify the controller, cable lengths, connections and limitations before you order.

The important distinction: Garden Controller Cloud networks Oase Control devices but has no 230V appliance sockets. InScenio FM-Master Cloud has four controlled mains sockets and an additional Oase Control connection. Eco Control is the local display and controller for one compatible pump.

Which Oase Controller Do You Need?

Controller What it controls Best suited to
Garden Controller Cloud Up to 10 compatible Oase Control devices through the data network; no switched 230V sockets App and cloud control of compatible pumps, filters and lighting
InScenio FM-Master EGC Cloud Four 230V sockets plus an Oase Control connection; up to 12 controllable or networked devices in the system Mixed ponds that need mains switching as well as smart Oase equipment
Eco Control One directly connected compatible Eco Expert, Titanium or other approved Oase pump Local pump adjustment and status information without a full cloud controller

Garden Controller Cloud: The Oase Control Network Hub

The Garden Controller Cloud is for products that already have an Oase Control interface. It connects the device network to the Oase Control app over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and can provide cloud access when it is linked to the home network. Oase currently specifies connection and monitoring of up to 10 compatible devices.

Typical compatible families include selected AquaMax Eco Premium, AquaMax Eco Expert, AquaMax Eco Titanium, Aquarius Eco Expert, compatible ProfiClear filters and Oase Control lighting. Compatibility is model-specific: an Oase badge or an electronically adjustable motor does not automatically mean the product has the correct interface.

The controller has no appliance sockets. Oase publishes an 80m maximum unobstructed 2.4GHz Wi-Fi range, but walls, metal filter houses, planting and distance from the router can reduce this substantially. Choose the position by testing the real signal, not by measuring an empty-garden radius.

InScenio FM-Master EGC Cloud: Sockets and Smart Control Together

The InScenio FM-Master EGC Cloud is the better starting point when the installation contains a mixture of ordinary mains equipment and Oase Control devices. It provides four 220-240V sockets: three switchable outlets and one dimmable outlet. Oase states a maximum total load of 2,700W or 12A, while the dimmable socket is rated for compatible loads from 40-320W.

Do not use the dimmable socket as a general-purpose speed controller. Many electronic pumps, UVs, transformers and controllers must only be switched fully on or off. Connect a product to the dimmable outlet only when its own instructions explicitly allow that type of control.

Each socket can be timed through the system, and the separate Oase Control connection lets compatible digital devices join the same app. This makes the FM-Master useful for combinations such as a fixed UV, switched feature pump, lighting transformer and a separately networked controllable filter pump.

Eco Control: Direct Pump Adjustment at the Pond

The Oase Eco Control is a local two-line display for approved Oase pumps including Eco Expert and Titanium families. It can adjust output, change available SFC or DFC settings and show information such as power consumption, speed and total running time when the connected pump supports those functions.

Eco Control uses a 10m Oase communication cable and takes its power from the connected pump, so it does not need a separate power supply. Oase specifies dry installation only for the controller. It can be mounted on the pump, on the supplied ground spike or on a wall.

Eco Control is ideal when you want reliable adjustment beside the equipment without relying on Wi-Fi. It is not, by itself, a cloud gateway or a bank of switched mains sockets.

Oase Control Cables, Connectors and Adaptors

The controller and devices communicate through shielded four-core Oase Control cable with matched plug-and-socket ends. We currently list 2.5m, 5m, 10m and 30m lengths. The Oase Control cable connector joins compatible cables, while the Oase Control adaptor provides the specified interface for compatible pump installations.

These are communication cables, not ordinary mains extension leads or generic data cables. Keep connectors clean, fit the seals and end resistor required by the system, and plan enough length for a service loop without leaving coils where they can be damaged by tools or rodents.

Planning Wi-Fi, Power and Outdoor Installation

  1. List every item you want to control and record its exact model number.
  2. Separate Oase Control data devices from ordinary switched mains loads.
  3. Add the wattage and starting characteristics of every socket-connected load.
  4. Measure each controller-to-device cable route, including rises, corners and service loops.
  5. Test the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal at the proposed controller position.
  6. Provide suitable RCD protection, isolation and weatherproof electrical installation.
  7. Keep controllers and connections accessible and away from areas likely to flood.

An IP rating is not a reason to leave a controller in standing water or bury a connector in mud. Outdoor pond electrics should be installed to the current instructions and relevant electrical requirements; use a qualified electrician where a new supply or fixed wiring is involved.

Our practical advice: draw the network before buying cables. Mark the controller, every Oase Control device, every mains socket load and the route back to the router. That simple sketch prevents most compatibility and cable-length mistakes.
