Large pond renovation in Forest Row, East Sussex
Matt & his team have transformed my pond from a rather neglected eyesore to the envy of all my friends! It’s a very large pond & entailed 2-3 weeks of hard work, not least by Nathalie, who was a force of nature! It was clear from the start that it wasn’t just a job of work - she took a personal interest & the result reflects that. Restoring a large planted garden pond
As part of the work, we repotted the lilies and irises we had saved and potted nine further water lilies for the pond. We also adjusted the return flow with a Y valve so the waterfall was not receiving too much water. The photographs were added to the project in early August, before Madeleine’s review, and show the main pond, new planting and the water flowing over the stone waterfall.
