These Norfine floating inspection nets provide a soft-sided enclosure for keeping koi apart within the pond during short handling or observation tasks. Water passes through the mesh, so the fish remain in the pond’s circulating water. Each size is supplied with its net cover.

Choose the net size

Choose the 76cm option, supplier code BT595, or the 106cm option, code BT596. Check the space available and the room required for the fish before ordering.

Water passes through the enclosure

The mesh allows pond water to move through the net. This separates the fish physically while sharing the surrounding water. If you need to keep water separate for quarantine or a different treatment regime, use a suitable independent vessel and support system.

The cover is included

Each complete floating net includes a matching net cover. Fit the supplied cover securely and check its position during use. A fitted cover helps contain the fish, but it does not remove the need to supervise them or inspect the enclosure.

Use for short periods and monitor the fish

Prepare the net and position it securely before introducing fish. Keep the fish under observation and avoid overcrowding. The enclosure is intended for short-term separation; it is not a substitute for adequate pond space, aeration or filtration.

Inspect and clean the mesh

Before use, check the mesh, frame and cover for damage. Rinse away debris after use, clean as appropriate for your pond equipment and allow the net to dry before storage. Keep equipment used with quarantined fish separate from the main pond equipment where practical.
