Yamitsu Superior Mix Pellets

A three-colour complete pellet food with a choice of sizes

Superior Mix is a three-colour complete pellet food. The manufacturer lists 2 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm versions, with a separate 16 mm listing also available. These are pellet-size choices: do not assume every bag contains every size. Choose a pellet that the intended fish can take comfortably.

Feeding guidance

Follow the supplied pack’s temperature and portion directions, adjusting the ration to fish activity and water conditions. Watch the meal and remove leftovers. Reduce the quantity if food remains or appetite falls. Increase feeding gradually as conditions improve and check water quality when the ration rises.

Keeping the food fresh

Seal the pack after use and store it somewhere cool, dry and away from sunlight. Keep pond water out, use a dry scoop and follow the best-before date. Smaller packs can be more practical where the daily ration is modest.
