Power supply for modular LunAqua Connect lighting
The Oase LunAqua Connect Power Supply 36 W is part of the Oase LunAqua Connect modular pond and garden lighting system. Rather than buying one fixed lighting kit and hoping it reaches, LunAqua Connect lets you build a setup around the pond, waterfall, path, planting or feature you actually want to light. The system uses safe 24 V low-voltage components, with compatible lights, power supplies, distributors, extension cables and smart control options that can be combined and expanded over time.
What this power supply does
The Oase LunAqua Connect Power Supply 36 W supplies the 24 V LunAqua Connect lighting system. It is the first component to choose when building a custom layout, because every spotlight in the system draws power from the transformer. Add together the wattage of the lights you plan to use and keep within the output of the selected power supply.
If you are mixing different light sizes, do not use the maximum count for each type. Instead, add up the actual wattage of each spotlight. As a guide, S spotlights use 2.5 W, M white spotlights use 4 W, L white spotlights use 6.5 W, and M RGB spotlights use 7.5 W each. If you expect to expand the system later, the 60 W version is usually the better long-term option.
How the LunAqua Connect system fits together
Every LunAqua Connect installation starts with a power supply. Choose the 36 W or 60 W power supply by adding together the wattage of the lights you want to run, allowing spare capacity if you may extend the system later. The controller is then added where you want app-based dimming, timers or RGB colour selection. From there, white or RGB distributors and extension cables are used to split and route the lighting around the pond or garden.
The power supply can be connected directly into a simple on/off lighting run, or used with the LunAqua Connect controller where you want smart control, dimming, timers or RGB colour selection.
White LunAqua Connect components use the white 2-pin connection, while RGB components use the RGB 4-pin connection. They are part of the same overall range, but the white and RGB cables and distributors should not be mixed.
Choosing between 36 W and 60 W
- Choose 36 W for compact systems with a small number of lights.
- Choose 60 W for larger gardens, mixed layouts or future expansion.
- Always add the wattage of all lights together before ordering.
- Leave spare capacity where possible rather than running the power supply at its absolute limit.
