Kiyomizu Junior Koi Food
4.5 mm pellets with a formula-specific nutrition and ingredient guide
Kiyomizu Junior Floating is a complete 4.5 mm koi pellet for the Junior stage of the range. Its 45% protein and 8% fat formula differs from both Adult and Jumbo, so it is more useful to compare the complete analysis than the pellet diameter alone. Wheat germ, fish meal, spirulina and inulin are among its declared ingredients. Floating pellets let you observe feeding at the surface and check that smaller fish receive a share.

Feeding and storage
Follow the feeding guidance on the pack and adjust portions to water temperature, fish activity and water quality. Start with a modest amount and watch the feeding response before increasing the ration. Remove uneaten food and reduce the next portion if pellets remain. Keep food cool, dry and sealed; prevent pond water from entering the pack.
Floating food makes it easier to observe appetite, but dominant fish can still take more than their share. Watch the smaller fish as well as the most active feeders, and distribute modest portions across the feeding area when needed.
The manufacturer’s declarations include bentonite. Its label directions advise against coating bentonite-containing feed with antibiotics because the clay can affect their effectiveness.
