Hikari Gold Koi Food

Hikari Gold Koi Food

Floating colour food for koi in warmer water

Hikari Gold is a daily colour-enhancing floating food for koi and larger goldfish. It has a guaranteed minimum of 35% protein and 3% fat. Choose it when colour is a feeding objective and the water is warm enough for the fish to use the ration effectively.

Feeding guidance

Hikari’s global feeding guide suggests 2–4 feeds daily at 20–30°C and no more than twice daily at 15–20°C, with each portion consumed within five minutes. For 11–15°C it points to Excel or Wheat-Germ, and below 11°C to Wheat-Germ. Adjust portions to appetite and water quality.

Keep the food sealed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use a dry scoop, prevent pond water entering the pack and discard food that has become damp or spoiled. Continue checking the fish and water quality when changing food or increasing the ration.
