Complete pond flakes in a 200 g tub

FishScience Pond Flakes is a complete flake food for pond fish. The pictured 200 g manufacturer label positions it for fish under 20 cm long. Flakes offer a different texture from the Everyday pellets and the Variety pellet mixture; choose the format around the fish that need to eat it.

Feeding guidance

The pictured label directs two or three feeds daily, limited to what the fish eat within five minutes, when water temperatures are above 10°C. Divide the daily allowance between those feeds, rather than multiplying it.

Introduce a change gradually and check water quality when increasing the ration. Keep feeding quantities under review after a quiet period or a change to filtration. A full appetite at one meal does not establish that the pond can support an unlimited daily ration.

Storage and freshness

Keep the container sealed in a cool, dry place with its lid or closure secure. Use a dry scoop, keep pond water out and follow the best-before date. Choose a pack quantity that suits the feeding rate so the food is used while fresh.
