Evolution Aqua Detox Dechlorinator 12 Inch

Evolution Aqua Detox Dechlorinator 12 Inch

Incoming tap-water treatment for pond fills and top-ups

provides a quick, easy, and highly effective solution for removing harmful chemicals from tap water. Designed for use during first fills, water changes, and top-ups, it is perfect for both ponds and aquariums. Forget waiting for chlorine to gas off or relying on liquid treatments. With this unit, you can fill directly from the hosepipe.

The Detox Dechlorinator connects easily to a garden hose or rigid pipework, with all necessary connectors included for simple installation. Utilising high-grade activated carbon, the 12-inch filter removes a wide range of contaminants including: Chlorine Chloramine Bromine Malachite green Organic dyes and colours Humic acids Proteins Antibiotics Hormones Ozone

Water testing products are the starting point for most pond treatment decisions. Accurate test results help show whether the issue is ammonia, nitrite, pH, KH, phosphate, chlorine, nitrate or another water parameter. This avoids guessing, reduces unnecessary dosing and gives a clearer record of how the pond responds after treatment, water changes or filter maintenance.

Evolution Aqua PURE products are designed around live beneficial bacteria, filter support and sludge reduction. PURE Pond Bombs and Sludge Bombs are often used together for clarity and maintenance support, with many products treating up to around 20,000 litres per unit.

Using the dechlorinator

Use the dechlorinator on incoming tap water and observe the manufacturer flow limit. The carbon media has a finite treatment capacity; check the treated water and replace an exhausted unit rather than assuming every litre remains protected.

Key benefits

• Filters incoming tap water during filling and top-ups
• Conditions incoming water during pond fills and top-ups
• Useful for koi ponds, garden ponds and larger pond systems
• Works alongside water testing; it is not a measurement device
• Works alongside separate water tests to check performance
• Observe the manufacturer flow limit and finite carbon capacity
