Burtons Sturgeon Food

Burtons Sturgeon Food

Sinking sturgeon pellets in 4.5 mm and 8 mm sizes

Burtons Sturgeon Food is a sinking food offered here in 5 kg packs, with a choice of 4.5 mm or 8 mm pellets. Choose the diameter to suit the sturgeon’s mouth size and ability to take the food. Both sizes have their own Burtons product listing; select the required size before checking availability.

Pack choice and feeding

This listing offers 5kg packs. Use the selector to check the current price and availability for the required option. Choose a pack that you can use while the food is fresh.

Observe the sturgeon feeding rather than assuming food that sinks has reached it. In a mixed pond, other fish may take the pellets first, so monitor where they settle and whether the intended fish eats them. Follow the feeding directions on the supplied pack and remove uneaten food.

Nutritional Information

Check the current pack label for its composition and analytical declaration when comparing the nutritional content with another sturgeon food.

Keeping food fresh and monitoring the pond

Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use a clean, dry scoop and keep pond water out of the food. Check water quality when increasing feed or changing the feeding routine, and respond to uneaten food rather than following a fixed scoop count regardless of conditions.
