Balance Plus combines floating and sinking pellets in a 50:50 blend. This offers feeding opportunities at different depths while retaining a 35% protein and 7% fat declaration. The ingredient list includes propolis, garlic, spirulina and astaxanthin. Observe both parts of the meal: the sinking portion needs checking even after the surface is clear.

Watch the feeding area below the surface. Food disappearing from view does not establish that it has been eaten, especially near a bottom drain or where other fish intercept the pellets.

Feeding guidance

Follow the supplied pack’s temperature guidance and base portions on actual feeding activity. Count the whole blend within the daily ration; the sinking part is not an extra allowance.

Remove uneaten food and reduce feeding if water quality deteriorates. Increase the ration gradually as conditions improve, checking fish behaviour and filtration rather than relying on the calendar or a fixed scoop count.

Storage

Keep food sealed, cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. Use a clean, dry scoop and keep pond water out of the pack. Follow the best-before date and label directions, and avoid buying more than can be used while fresh.
