TMC states that the Titan process uses UV-C with a photocatalytic surface to generate highly reactive, short-lived hydroxyl radicals inside the chamber, improving the breakdown of organic material. It is still selected from the real pond duty and permitted flow, not from wattage alone.
The standard and Titan models share familiar sizes, so read the full product name when comparing. A replacement lamp, quartz sleeve or seal must match the exact generation and wattage.
Standard Pro Pond or Pro Pond Titan?
Standard models are Pro Pond UV15, UV25, UV55 and UV110. Titan versions are Titan UV15, Titan UV25, Titan UV55 and Titan UV110.
Choose Titan where its photocatalytic treatment benefit and system specification justify it. A standard Pro Pond remains a capable green-water clarifier when correctly sized and maintained.
Work from the Actual Flow
Large filters sometimes need more total turnover than one UV chamber should receive. Design the line or bypass to keep the TMC unit within its specified flow while preserving overall circulation.
Use unions and isolation valves, support the body and keep lamp-removal space clear.
Maintenance Makes the Difference
Replace the correct TMC lamp at the stated interval and clean the sleeve without scratching it. Inspect seals every time the chamber is opened. A small leak beside a ballast or connector is not acceptable.
