A new liner for an existing pond
We replaced the liner in this timber edged pond in Upnor in September 2021. The work kept the existing pond shape and surround, with a new rubber liner fitted inside.
Looking after the fish during the work
The fish stayed in a temporary holding pond while we worked. Once the new liner was in place, we refilled the pond and returned them. The photographs show the original pond, the temporary holding setup and the new liner during refilling.
For a job like this, access around the pond and somewhere suitable for the holding pond matter as much as the liner itself. We plan those details before starting so there is room to work and the fish can be cared for throughout.
