Aquascape Heavy Duty Underlay 250 GSM Roll is lightweight, spreads easily, making installation quick and easy. Aquascape Heavy Duty Underlay 250 GSM Boxed is used to protect pond liner from rocks, roots, and other sharp objects that may damage the liner. The underlayment is lightweight, spreads easily, and has a non-slippery surface, making installation quick and easy. The soft, non-woven geotextile made from polypropylene also allows for any gases to escape properly, rather than becoming trapped beneath the liner.

Preparing the surface beneath the liner

Remove sharp debris and compact unstable ground before laying the underlay. Overlap adjacent pieces and protect the liner anywhere it will be pressed against masonry, roots or angular stone. Underlay reduces puncture risk but does not replace sound ground preparation.
