Pond cleaning in Gillingham: our first paid day

The cleaning job was well done. He kept us updated as the job progressed. Even gave tips on how to maintain it ourselves.

Where it all started

This Gillingham pond clean was one of our first two paid jobs, both booked for 9 June 2021. Matt had chosen the name That Pond Guy, set up the business and started advertising. Back then, he fitted pond work around his shifts at Kent Police.

Cleaning the pond and explaining its care

The garden pond sat amongst established planting, with netting over the water. We cleaned the pond, kept Cobby updated as we went and explained how to look after it between visits.

That’s still one of the parts of pond cleaning we enjoy most: getting a pond back into shape and helping its owner feel more confident about looking after it.
