Pond cleaning in Caterham, Surrey
Our poor fish spent most of this summer under a thick layer of red sludge and algae. We tried various treatments.. We contacted Matt from That Pond Guy Ltd. We didn’t think we would need the pond emptying , we were looking for a short cut. Matt answered all our queries (there were a LOT!!),and with much trepidation we decided to go ahead with a full clean. The team of three worked really well together. They were quick, professional and so nice. ALL our fish were happily swimming round the next day. The aquatic plants had been resited and our pond just looked lovely.

A full pond clean in Caterham
Geoff and Sue contacted us after a summer of sludge and algae in their pond. They had tried treatments and initially hoped to avoid emptying it, so we talked through their questions before agreeing on a full clean.
We cleaned the pond in October 2024 and repositioned the aquatic plants. The photographs show the pond before work and during refilling afterwards.
