Oase floating lake aeration covers two different styles. The AquaAir Eco 250 is a low-profile venturi aerator that directs oxygenated flow into the water, while AirFlo LM units combine substantial aeration with a visible fountain display for estates, golf courses and commercial lakes.
The AquaAir Eco 250 is the technical option for ponds up to 250 m³ in the manufacturer’s rating. It can move up to 26,000 litres per hour, uses an adjustable injector for action down to 4 m and can vary power from 60 to 440 W. The AirFlo LM 1500 uses 230 V; the larger AirFlo LM 4000 is a 400 V project unit.
Model capacity is not the whole answer. Lake shape, depth, organic load and fish stock decide whether a single floating unit can create the required circulation.
AquaAir Eco 250: targeted, controllable aeration
Oase uses the Venturi principle to draw air into the high-velocity water stream. Its adjustable injector can target shallow or deeper zones, with published depth action up to 4 m. Stainless-steel elements support long service life, while Environmental Function Control protects against blockage and dry running.
Oase Control compatibility allows flow to be adjusted when the correct Garden Controller or InScenio FM-Master is added. That makes the unit useful where seasonal demand, noise or electricity use needs closer control.
AirFlo LM: aeration with a stronger visual presence
AirFlo LM units suit sites that want vigorous circulation and a prominent fountain effect. The 230 V LM 1500 can suit estates and golf-course lakes with accessible single-phase supply, while the 400 V LM 4000 is a larger commercial installation that requires appropriate three-phase design.
Confirm spray pattern, cable route, minimum depth and the complete electrical arrangement before committing to the model.
Positioning and real lake behaviour
Place the aerator where it can move the intended water mass, not merely where it looks symmetrical from the house. An irregular lake may need several circulation points. Wind can assist or oppose surface movement, and deep pockets may remain stratified.
Secure the float with suitable moorings, allow for changing levels and maintain clear access for lifting and servicing. Public or commercial sites require professional electrical installation.
