Yamitsu Peaches & Cream is a complete floating pond-stick food for everyday feeding of koi, goldfish and other ornamental pond fish. The distinctive light and coloured stick blend gives the food its name, but it should not be treated as a confectionery-style koi treat or occasional supplement.

The formula is intended to provide complete daily nutrition while also supporting colour and general condition. Its floating stick format is easy for many pond fish to take and makes it straightforward to observe feeding behaviour at the surface.

Why choose pond sticks?

Pond sticks soften in water and can be a practical choice for mixed garden ponds where fish vary in size and species. They are less specialised than an intensive koi-growth pellet, but they provide a simple, accessible complete food for routine feeding.

The floating format also allows uneaten food to be removed more easily. This matters because even a complete, digestible food will affect water quality if too much is offered.

Feeding guidance

Feed only what the fish will consume promptly, adjusting the amount to water temperature, stocking level and activity. Several small feeds are generally preferable to one heavy feed. Reduce or stop feeding when the fish become inactive and test ammonia and nitrite regularly during periods of heavier feeding.

A complete pond food, not merely a treat

The two-colour appearance can make Peaches & Cream look like a novelty food, but it is intended as a complete floating stick diet. It can therefore be used as part of a routine feeding programme, provided portions are adjusted to fish activity and the pond remains properly filtered and oxygenated. Avoid allowing softened sticks to collect in skimmers, plant baskets or quiet corners of the pond.
