This Air Manifold with 8mm Inlet and 4mm Outlets is designed for pond and aquarium aeration systems where one air pump feed needs to be split into several smaller outlets. It is a useful way to run multiple 4mm air lines from a single 8mm supply line, allowing air stones, small diffusers, quarantine tanks, filter chambers or individual pond aeration points to be balanced from one compact manifold.

Each outlet has its own control tap, so the airflow can be adjusted separately. This is important because air naturally takes the easiest route. Without individual valves, one air stone may receive too much air while another barely works, especially if the airline lengths or water depths are different. A manifold lets you reduce the stronger outlets and balance the weaker ones for a neater, more consistent installation.

Choosing the right manifold
