A key feature of the SpinClean 8000 is its easy clean backflush system, which removes the need to open the filter or handle dirty sponges. When the built in cleaning indicator shows that maintenance is required, the process is quick and straightforward. With the pump running, you turn the blue dial to clean and rotate the handle to agitate the foams inside the filter. This loosens trapped debris, which is then flushed away through the dedicated waste outlet. Once the waste water runs clear, you return the dial to pond mode and normal filtration continues. It is a clean, efficient system that saves time and keeps maintenance simple.

The integrated 13 watt UVC helps maintain clear water by targeting green water algae. As pond water passes through the unit, the UVC causes microscopic algae to clump together so they can be trapped by the filter foams. This helps prevent cloudy or green water and supports a healthier pond environment throughout the year. The UVC bulb is supplied with the filter, allowing for quick installation straight out of the box.
