When the built in cleaning indicator shows it is time for maintenance, you simply turn the blue dial to clean, rotate the handle to agitate the foams, and switch the pump back on. The trapped waste is flushed out through a dedicated waste outlet, keeping your hands clean and the process quick. Once the water runs clear, the dial is returned to pond mode and normal filtration resumes.

The integrated 13 watt UVC is designed to keep pond water clear by tackling green water algae. As water passes through the unit, the UVC causes microscopic algae to clump together so they can be captured by the filter foams.
