AquaForte Phospat 3 is the larger phosphate-removing cartridge in the Phospat range. It is designed for ponds, swimming ponds, fountains and circulation wells where phosphate reduction is needed to reduce one of the main food sources for blanketweed and algae.

Aquaforte Phospat 3 is an advanced, high-capacity phosphate remover designed to dramatically reduce the phosphate levels in your pond water—the primary nutrient responsible for blanketweed and algae growth. By keeping phosphate levels below the critical threshold of 0.035 mg/l, the Phospat 3 makes it nearly impossible for algae to thrive, without harming aquatic plants or beneficial bacteria. With an adsorption capacity of up to 270,000 mg, Phospat 3 outperforms traditional phosphate removers such as iron (III) oxide by up to 100 times.

Unlike many competing products, the Phospat permanently locks in the phosphate, preventing any release back into the water, even when saturated. Ideal for use in ponds, natural swimming pools, water features, and recirculation systems, this unit handles a flow rate of up to 3300 litres per hour and is suitable for water volumes up to 150,000 litres (150m³).
